These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Tegant VPN, operated by Venus Cloud Ltd. (Company Number: 07563716). By using Tegant VPN, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Tegant VPN, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Tegant VPN is a virtual private network service. It encrypts your internet connection and routes your traffic through our servers to protect your privacy. Tegant VPN is available on iOS, Android, and macOS. It supports WireGuard protocol for high-speed connections and V2Ray/XRay protocol for use in regions with internet restrictions. V2Ray/XRay is currently available on Apple devices only.
Tegant VPN is a privacy tool. It does not make you anonymous, and it does not guarantee access to any particular website or service. VPN performance depends on your internet connection, server load, and network conditions in your region.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Tegant VPN uses a freemium model:
- Free tier: watch one or more ads to unlock between 1 and 5 hours of VPN access on free servers. The free tier uses WireGuard protocol only and does not include ad blocking or malware protection.
- Premium subscriptions: available as weekly, monthly, or yearly plans. Premium includes ad-free access, V2Ray/XRay protocol, premium server selection, DNS-level ad blocking, and malware protection.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to each store's billing terms, renewal policies, and refund procedures. On Apple devices, one subscription covers all Apple devices linked to the same Apple ID. Android subscriptions are separate.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use Tegant VPN for:
- Any activity that violates the laws of your country or the country whose server you are connected to
- P2P file sharing or BitTorrent traffic (blocked on all servers)
- Sending spam, phishing, or malware
- Harassment, threats, or abuse directed at any person
- Attempting to attack, probe, or disrupt our servers or other users' connections
- Reselling, sharing, or redistributing your VPN access to third parties
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice or refund.
5. VPN traffic policy
Tegant VPN does not log user-identifiable VPN activity. We do not record your browsing activity, DNS queries, originating IP address, or connection timestamps tied to your identity. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
We do collect non-identifiable data for fraud prevention and service quality, including a randomly generated device identifier and aggregate server metrics. This data cannot be linked to your VPN browsing activity.
6. Service availability
Tegant VPN depends on your internet connection and on our server infrastructure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, connection speeds, or access to any particular website or streaming platform. Server availability and VPN effectiveness may vary by region, particularly in countries with active internet restrictions. We are not liable for service interruptions or connection failures.
7. Legal compliance
Tegant VPN is a privacy tool provided for legitimate purposes including secure browsing, protecting personal data, and accessing your own content while travelling. We respect all local laws and regulations. We do not encourage or condone the use of our service to circumvent legal requirements. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you.
8. Intellectual property
The Tegant VPN app, website, and all associated software and content are owned by Venus Cloud Ltd. and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Tegant VPN.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Tegant VPN is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, about reliability, connection speed, availability of specific servers or protocols, or fitness for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venus Cloud Ltd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Tegant VPN. This includes lost data, inability to access specific services, or any consequences of service interruptions.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Venus Cloud Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Tegant VPN or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to Tegant VPN at any time without notice if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms. Active subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play Store; cancellation and refund policies are governed by the respective store.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Tegant VPN after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
